progress-picture-2

No matter what journey we plan to embark on, we have to start somewhere. When it comes to fitness journeys, some of us are embarrassed about where we’re starting from. I know I was embarrassed when I first started.

But, once we get going on our journey, that embarrassment slowly but surely shifts to something you can be proud of.

When I first started Focus T25, I felt like no matter how hard I worked, I would never get to where I wanted to be. Even seeing other mama’s progress, I just felt like I was stuck in a fat suit forever. But, I was wrong.

Hard work does pay off.

You just have to get it done. No excuses.

I still have a long way to go, but at least I’m on my way there.

Some mornings I don’t want to leave my cozy bed to workout, but I don’t want to be uncomfortable in my own skin. Sometimes I’d prefer a greasy burger over steamed veggies, but I want to fuel my body with what it needs to live a long, healthy life.

On average, I’m awake 16 of the 24 hours in a day. That’s 16 hours I can fall into temptation. And when I don’t fall into temptation, that’s 16 hours I can be proud of for not only not giving in, but bettering my body and my health.

Focus on the little improvements and don’t focus on the big picture. It’s better to set several small goals than one big goal.

For myself, I have set several small goals and one big goal. That way until I reach my big goal, I have several goals to achieve in the meantime. It keeps me motivated and focused less on the big picture.

What motivates you?
